We are honored to have Daniel Kline of the University of Alaska joining us for a short series on a recent tragedy in Anchorage. The shooting took the life of a student in Dan's graduate seminar on the binding of Isaac. Many readers will know Dan already from his fantastic book on Medieval Literature for Children. He also authored this essay, one of the most beautiful I have ever read.
Look for Dan's first guest post on Monday, January 14.

Jeffrey, you mean this one?
There's also this one.
I'm so looking forward to this. Folks, if you haven't met Dan, he's a great delight. There's a certain session I imagine he's running again at Kzoo, and I highly suggest you drop by. Lord knows I'll be there.
Karl, THANKS, I've corrected the link.
It is a sympathetic and moving story.
