The future of the Canterbury Tales is the general prologue recited by a robot furry with a spastic condition.

Why does that robot remind me so much of you, Karl?

Because I'm big and sassy?

Um, no. You probably are both those things though. I guess it is the cow outfit. Or am I not supposed to mention that on the blog?

I suppose taking issue with pronunciation is totally analog, isn't it.

On the contrary. A truly robust interface would have allowed me to type the dialogue using IPA symbols.

Just be glad, MKH, that I didn't go with my first instinct, which was to have my little guy reciting the opening to Beowulf.

(moo)

Happy days. Who doesn't want Beowulf recited by a British robot? Nobody, that's who.

Or I could make it clickable:

Um, why is the cow doing the slap-ass dance and grabbing his crotch to Chaucer?

So confused. Makes head hurt.

That robot's pronunciation is horrible. To what possible question was this video the answer?
